As a Maintenance Fitter at Visy, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.
- Shift details: Monday to Friday, night shift (10pm to 6am)
- Pay rate: $50.00 per hour + 30% shift loading
What you will do:
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment
- Install and upgrade mechanical systems and equipment
- Keep accurate maintenance records in line with quality standards
- Support continuous improvement activities to ensure all systems are efficient, transparent and deliver required results.
- Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted
- Monitoring all outgoing material to ensure quality compliance.
What you will bring to the team:
- Recognised trade qualification (Fitter)
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- ‘Hands on’ Practical experience in a maintenance environment
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Forklift license desirable
